ASH FAIRY
After a bushfire, ash fairies feast on the burnt debris left in its wake. In the absence of natural bushfires, these fairies have been known to set up their homes around popular camping spots. In the quiet of night, they will help themselves to the ashen remains of the faded campfires.

8 - 12cm (ht), 5 - 9cm (wing span)

Always gracious, evidence of their thanks is often found in the form of a decorated gum leaf or gumnut.
